Following the tremendous success (and joy it brought us in the Braxted Park office!) of our engagement stories competition, we have decided to do it again this year.
For those of you that didn’t come across the competition, or those that have proposed/been proposed to since, we’d like you to share your engagement/proposal story with us and you’ll be entered into a draw to win a bottle of fizz!
To enter, simply visit our Facebook page, like our page and comment on the competition post with your story, please as give us much detail as you like, and we’ll pick our favourite to receive the bottle of champagne.
Last year’s winner was Claire Southgate and her story was as follows:
“My fiancé is a fireman and he proposed to me at the place we met on our 6 year anniversary. I was with the girls at a ladies day and he turned up with a huge banner on the side of the fire engine saying 'will you marry me”
Some others included:
“My h2b came home from a 12 month tour in Afghanistan on 15th February so a day later than the most romantic day of the year! He took our son shopping which was all very secret and between them they chose "the" ring. Together they came home and he stood in the living room whilst Boogie Bear held this stunning red shiny box he popped the BIGGEST question ever. I said ...... YES and was given the most beautiful ring. Love my ring, my h2b & our little family.”
- Lynda Clark
“I proposed on the peace bridge in Londonderry. We'd just had a meal that evening and as we walked over the bridge I went down on one knee and asked her. All the lights from the city were reflecting into the river and it looked great smile emoticon. We're getting married in August, can't wait. The picture is of us on the bridge just after asking, a couple stopped to take our picture."

We can’t wait to read more this year. Feel free to enter again if you did last year, but we’d love to read new stories too.
The winner will be announced early 2017. Good Luck!!
