There are many customs and superstitions that surround weddings and the big day, some of which brides and grooms still adhere to today, often without knowing or understanding their meaning or history. While walking down the aisle, sealing the marriage with a kiss and the first dance are all customs that are seen as being romantic, other traditions originated many centuries ago when it was thought people were more susceptible to bad luck and evil spirits around the time of their wedding.

This time of year gives couples the chance to get married against a really unique backdrop and theme the wedding accordingly. Yesterday saw us host our Autumn wedding Open Day, and wow, what a day it was. We saw hundreds of brides and grooms, and their mums, dads, bestmen and bridesmaids, pour through our beautiful Walled Garden and into the Pavilion. Here they were greeted by our team of wedding coordinators and a range of our suppliers, including florists, cake makers / decorators, photographers, make-up artists, caterers, wedding car suppliers, entertainment services and even giant garden games!
